Graveside Ceremony: 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Cisne Cemetery
David Rand Williams, age 69, of Noble, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2020, at Clay County Hospital in Flora, Illinois.
Mr. Williams was born April 1, 1951, in Olney, the son of Herbert and Jaunita (Pittman) Williams. He was united in marriage to Vera Christine “Chris” Staley on June 17, 1973, in Flora, and together they have shared 47 years of marriage.
He owned and operated Noble Foods with his brother, Doyle, and friend and business partner Vickie Kessler in Noble, Illinois.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife: Chris Williams of Noble; a son: Shawn (Stephanie) Williams of Noble; a daughter: Heidi (Jack) Cole of Olney; a sister: Vicki Williams of Noble; a brother: Doyle Williams of Noble; and 3 grandchildren: Isabelle, Gavin, and Sophia Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Cisne Cemetery. Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to a favorite charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted through the funeral home.

David was the start to my career. I was 15 years old when I started working for him at Noble IGA. He was a good kind hearted man.

I have many happy childhood memories of playing at Pennie's with David and Doyle when we were little that I will never forget. Words can’t begin to express how sorry we are in David’s passing. I’ve known him since l was a kid growing up with Penny. We had such fun times. I was so glad he chose one of my best friends to spend his life with. I know he is in a better place but it still does take away the pain of not seeing him again.
