Graveside Ceremony: 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Ingraham Cemetery
Visitation: 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the cemetery
Alice C. Wilkins, age 73, of Ingraham, Illinois, passed away Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020, at Clay County Hospital.
She was born December 2, 1946, in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of Dwight and Neva (Lilley) Pickel. She was united in marriage to John R. Wilkins on February 10, 1975, and together they shared 43 wedding anniversaries until his death February 27, 2018.
Alice worked for many years at Roadmaster in Olney and Sparton Manufacturing and later retired from Olney Walmart where she worked in the vision center. She enjoyed time spent with her family and her animals, especially her dog, Max.
She is survived by her 2 sons: John Wilkins Jr. and Brad Wilkins; a daughter: Michelle Wilkins (Randy Beard); a granddaughter: Brittany (Jason) Staley; 2 great-grandchildren: Adalynn and Axton Staley; 3 sisters: Mary (Bob) Wathan, Geneva Skelton, and Pauline (Rick) Bowen; and a sister-in-law: Patricia (McGuire) Pickel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: John Wilkins; stepson: Stephen Jackson; a sister: Lora Lee; and 3 brothers: Elza, Alfred, and Charles Pickel.
A graveside ceremony will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Ingraham Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home. We had many opportunities to pray with Alice. She would be able to sometimes attend our Sunday Services. Prayers for your family during this time of loss.
Alice was a nice lady. I always enjoyed seeing her outside Her apartment with her dog Max. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Alice was one sweet & super lady. She always had a smile for everyone. I enjoyed going to the house a few time with Shelly. Max was always by Alice's or John's side. Fly high Alice with the angel's.
