Private interment took place at Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.
Marlene Lucille Dulaney, age 81, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at The Windsor of Lawrence in Lawrence, Kansas.
She was born Nov 3, 1939, in Long Beach, California. She was united in marriage to Joseph Donald Dulaney on June 14, 1958, in Santa Barbara, California and together they shared 45 wedding anniversaries until his death January 22, 2004.
Marlene took pride in raising her family first and foremost, then sports came as a close second. Marlene loved to cross stitch and enjoyed gardening, garden club, playing the piano and violin, and traveling. She had a beautiful life surrounded by Joseph’s large family in the Flora/Xenia area where she was exceptionally loved.
Marlene is survived by her children: Donald Warren Dulaney of Kansas, David Steven Dulaney of Wisconsin, and Allison Marlene Dulaney of Washington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Your Mother had a full life, she was always so proud of you children. She was one of our Posey Pals, and will be missed at our Garden Club meetings. Our sympathy to your family.
