Interment: Floral Garden of Memories Cemetery
Visitation: 1 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home

Mildred I. Sutton, age 91, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, March 4, 2021, at her home.
She was born November 7, 1929, in Rinard, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Henry and Ola (Hayes) Baker. She was united in marriage to Darell Bowen and he preceded her in death March 29, 1982. She later married John M. Sutton and he preceded her in death September 25, 2016.
Mildred had worked at the garment factory, Jaco’s Dime Store, and had managed Murphy’s in Flora. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, visiting with people, and especially looked forward to gathering with retired Murphy’s co-workers for dinner. Family was very important to Mildred and she cherished her time spent with them.
She is survived by 2 sons: Darell (Sherry) Bowen of West Palm Beach, Florida and Roger (Debbie) Bowen of Flora; a daughter: Ada (Chris) Kessel of Flora; 8 grandchildren: Lindsey, Alison, Michael, Josh, Sara, Chad, Levi, and Luke; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Mary Milner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands: a sister: Mona June Sager; and 2 brothers: James and Elmer Baker.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Floral Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to any charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted through the funeral home. So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed. She wasn't my aunt but she seemed like one. I will remember her always. Prayers for you all.

So very sorry to hear of Mildred passing ,now Mona and her sister Mildred can rejoice in Heaven together, she was my moms neighbor , mom loved to visit her and see her new crochet items ,
