Gwen E. Erwin, age 95, of Wilmore, Kentucky, and formerly of Louisville, Illinois, passed away early Monday morning, March 8, 2021, at Wesley Village Senior Living in Wilmore.

   She was born September 19, 1925, in Louisville, Illinois, the daughter of George W. and Hazel (Hopkins) Brewer.  She was married to Royal Erwin who preceded her in death in 2004. 

   Gwen is survived by a daughter: Karen Erwin; son: Alan (Linda) Erwin; 2 grandchildren: Mark (Kristen) Erwin and Daniel (Erynn) Erwin; a brother: Bill Brewer; and many nieces and nephews.

   In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Arthur V. Brewer, George Wayne Brewer, and Charles David Brewer; and a sister: Mary Jane Bayler.

   A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Louisville United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.  Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Louisville United Methodist Church or Wesley Village Senior Living Facility and will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a memory or condolence, visit: www.frankandbright.com
