Funeral Ceremony: 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home
Interment: Oskaloosa Cemetery
Visitation: 12 noon until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home
Elizabeth Ann Waggoner, age 66, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
She was born September 28, 1954, in Xenia, Illinois, the daughter of Dewey and Mildred (Halterman) Waggoner.
Ann went to work at Sparton Manufacturing in high school, and later worked for Huck’s and Silgan Plastics. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Effingham and the Flora VFW Auxiliary. She loved to cook her homemade sugar cookies, noodles, and chocolate Texas sheet cake, and enjoyed looking through recipes. Ann cherished her time spent with family, especially at family dinners, and will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving and caring person.
She is survived by her 2 sisters: Bonnie M. Waggoner and Cathy S. (Howard Allen) Hartman; 5 nieces: Chrystal M. Hartman, Keah R. Hartman, Terry (Randy) McDonald, Kelsey (Jay) Burton, and Cierra Hartman; and a nephew: Billy E. Waggoner II (Sian Kester).
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers: Gene Waggoner and Billy E. Waggoner.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Kevin Colclasure officiating. Interment will follow in Oskaloosa Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Sorry For Your Loss of Annie. I worked with her at Silgan and she was a very hard worker no matter how much pain she was in. I will remember her forever in my heart. Prayers for all of the family she will be missed by all.
