Memorial Ceremony: 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora

Sharon Ann Riggleman, age 69, of Flora, Illinois, passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving children.
She was born June 5, 1951, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Jack Henry and Rebecca Jane (Trinkle) Michels.
Sharon enjoyed music and dancing, gardening, and tending to her flowers. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook. Her grandchildren were very special to her and she cherished her time spent with them making memories.
She is survived by her husband: James Riggleman; children: Jackie (Edward) Heiden of Bible Grove, Lori (Paul) Tidwell of Clay City, Donnie (Spring) Totten of Mattoon, and Jesse (Constance) Riggleman of Xenia; 12 grandchildren: Charlee (Jared) Eveland, Michael Heiden, Johnathan (Keri) Heiden, Jordyn Totten, Justin Totten, Jessica Totten, Hannah (Brendan) Tidwell, Matthew (Clarissa) Tidwell, and Zachery, Colby, Quinton, and Brock Riggleman; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 brothers: James, Robert, and Jerry Hurd.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Mountaindale Cemetery, Shanks, West Virginia. A memorial ceremony was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Visitation was 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. So difficult to let go of this beautiful, spirited woman who was so full of life. She definitely put up a good fight until the end. Such a strong personality that I looked up to all my life. I will miss that bubbly laughter and generous heart and will look for her light when we meet again. Bless you all for sharing her with us as a family. We love you.

Sharon I allways will remember the time spent with you and James many miles came between you and James where I thought of all the fun of are youth.Would have loved have sat and traded life's story's with you and James. To James Riggelman I am so sorry for your loss and all of her family. I thought the world of her.Would love to be there for support but was late finding out.I sent messages over the last few years searching for contact and never found where you was located. Till we meet again on God's Restful Short R.I.P. Sharon.
