A private family service will be held.
John Edgar Tolliver, age 66, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Flora Gardens Care Center.
He was born May 16, 1955, in Flora, Illinois, the son of John H. “Bush” and Nadine (Colclasure) Tolliver.
Known to his family and friends as “Bush Hawg,” he enjoyed being outdoors, especially time spent fishing and camping. John also enjoyed taking road trips and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his children: Tabbitha (Dusty) Wilson of Olney, Jonathan Tolliver of Olney, and Jennie Tolliver of Olney; grandchildren: Tristen Dowds, Darik Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Matilda Wilson, Kurtis Wilson, and Remington Darrel-Neal; brothers: Jim (Tina) Tolliver of Effingham, Bill (Jamie) Tolliver of Geff, and Gene Brinkley of Harristown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Patricia “Patty” Holloway and Shirley Ostrander; and brothers: Thomas Brinkley Jr. and Jack Brinkley.
A private family service will be held. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora assisted the family with arrangements. So sorry for the lost of another family member. Johnny was always around for our gathering. I feel like you all were more than cousins. Rest in Pease Johnny. You will greatly missed.
