Wanda L. Bailey, age 74, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning, December 11, 2021, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
She was born September 8, 1947, in Sailor Springs, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Knight and Mary Opal (Yauch) Harris. On May 21, 1988, she was united in marriage to Ronald R. Bailey during a ceremony at the Clay City First Baptist Church, and they have enjoyed spending 33 wedding anniversaries together.
Wanda had worked at Sparton Manufacturing and Bel-Tronics. She was an excellent cook, and very much enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Bailey of Louisville; a sister, Yvonne Anderson (Larry Haynes) of Lake Zurich; a nephew, Troy Haynes; a niece, Mary Stafiej; and cousins, Rhonda and Tammy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Knight and Opal Harris; and a nephew, Charles Haynes.

Wanda and I were classmates and friends. Everyone should have a friend like Wanda. We had lots of fun together and I will have those memories forever. Prayers for her family.
