Wayne was a very good friend, hard worker, and honest and dependable. So sorry for your loss Wayne was a great friend and guy
Wayne “Weinie” was like a brother to me. Our friendship lasted for over 50 years as we met while serving in the Army together at Ft. Bragg, NC. Both being from Illinois we kept in touch over the years even after I moved to Arizona. There is no doubt he is the funniest person I have ever known. He could absolutely floor me with is imitations and his playing the air standup bass fiddle among other things I was fortunate enough to have met Wayne’s two sons Brian and Mason and I’ll never forget our annual baseball trips too see the Cardinals along with my son Brett. Those were great times. Wayne was a great friend, husband to Gail and an awesome father. I will miss my brother Wayne but I know he’s in a better place feeling great and looking forward to opening day. Rest In Peace my brother. Love You. The Whammer

We are heartbroken. He has been the best next-door neighbor ever. Not only has he been lots of fun, but he would always wander over to help when he saw us working on a project. When we would try to thank him, he would smile and say, "That's what neighbors are for."
Gail.... I just learned of Wayne's passing. I am very sorry for your loss.
I am saddened by the news of Wayne's passing. Some of my fondest memories were of Wayne coaching our pony league baseball team. He will be missed by all! Love ya coach!
