Sandra J. Blohm, age 83, of Olney, Illinois, passed away Saturday evening, October 15, 2022, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1939, in Clay County, the daughter of Creed Garrison and Agnes Ovalee (McCracken) Perry. She was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Fulk in 1963, and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1981. She later married John W. Blohm in 1986, and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2011.
Sandra was a member of the Community Southern Baptist Church in Clay City. She had worked as a CNA at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield and had studied cosmetology, developing a lifelong interest in the art of hair and cosmetics. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, traveling with her best friend Norita, and spending time with all of her family. Sandra was a loving cat mother to Pumpkin and Angel.
She is survived by a daughter: Kimothy (Roger) Fulk of Olney; grandchildren: Mindy (Kevin) Large of Olney, Kayla Fulk of Olney, Krystal (Josh) Wyatt of Florence, Kentucky, Erica (Tommy) Beard of Olney, Emily Fulk of Olney, and Kyle Fulk of Olney; great-grandchildren: Kally, Shawn, Keaton, Kooper, Kara, Karson, Marabelle, and Taylor; and a sister-in-law: Kay Perry of Flora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son: Donny Ray Fulk; and siblings: Leota Perry, Richard (Blanche) Perry, Mary Lou (John) Platte, Audra Jean Kunce, Ruth Ann (Dale) Bowen, Ollie Magdeline (Wayne) Krutsinger, Creed Leon Perry, Agnes Darlene (William) Leathers, an infant brother and an infant sister.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Pastor David Starr officiating. Interment will be at Hanna Cemetery, Noble. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Community Southern Baptist Church and will be accepted through the funeral home. Sandra was a wonderful Christian lady, who will be missed but never forgotten.

We were best friends as we worked and vacationed together all the time she and John lived in Springfield. She was a wonderful, Christian friend and I loved her like a sister.
