Mary Jo Vezina

Visitation: 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church

 

      Mary Jo Vezina, age 71, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon.

      She was born July 19, 1951, in Chicago, the daughter of Glenn and Betty (Stockel) Quinn.  She was united in marriage to Maynard L. Vezina on July 19, 2014.

      Mary Jo was a member of the Xenia Christian Church.  She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who was always concerned for the well-being of others.

     She is survived by her husband: Maynard Vezina; 2 sons: Kevin McBrien and Kenny McBrien; 5 grandchildren: Brittany, Kevin Jr., Robert, Anthony, and Vincent; a stepdaughter: Aberné Heerdt; and 2 step-grandchildren: J.T. and Isaac.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

      A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Xenia Christian Church, 328 S. Church St., Xenia, Illinois 62899.  A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com
