Connie Lee Wilson, age 82, of Flora, Illinois passed away November 1, 2022, at Aperion Care in Fairfield.

        She was born September 30, 1940, in Flora, the daughter of Lloyd Miller Bentley and Captola (Hamilton) Reynolds.  She was united in marriage to James Edward Wilson on July 23, 1961, at the Chanute Air Force Base chapel in Rantoul, and together they shared 57 years of marriage until his death October 10, 2018.

        Connie was a member of Transformation Church of God in Clay City.  She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, time spent outdoors, and gardening.  She had a love for flowers, especially roses and tulips.  She will be remembered for always seeing the good in others.  She and Jim had enjoyed traveling and camping, sometimes going on trips for weeks at a time.  Her family was the most important thing to her, and she loved each and every one of her grandchildren. 

        She is survived by 2 sons: James D. Wilson of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Jonathon (Cindy) Wilson of Flora; grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, and Andrew Wilson of Arkansas, Spencer Kellison (Nicole Kalafus) of Flora, Jordan Kellison (Breanna Martin) of Hampton, Iowa, Tristen Wilson of Flora, Evan Kellison (Tia Prater) of Flora, Dakota Wilson (Veronica Weig) of Flora, Maleah Wilson of Olney, and Jaide Wilson of Flora; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Hayden, and Korah Kellison of Olney, Arianna Kellison of Flora, Gannon Kellison of Hampton, Iowa, Paisleigh and Korben Wilson of Flora, Kinsleigh Wilson of Olney, and Chase Miller of Flora.

        She was preceded in death by her father: Lloyd Reynolds; mother: Captola Barbee; husband: Jim Wilson; stepfather: Donald “Bud” Barbee; and a granddaughter: Chasity Michelle Wilson.

        A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Transformation Church of God in Clay City.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.  A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at the church.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to Transformation Church of God and will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com
