Celebration of Life: 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Dillman Cemetery

Marsha Lou Blair, age 73, of Sailor Springs, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning, July 8, 2023, at Flora Gardens Care Center.
She was born September 11, 1949, in Flora, the daughter of George and Bernette (Phillips) Weidner.
Marsha worked for the Clay County Courthouse as a tax assessor and was a member of the Flora American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, canoeing with her kids, and riding four-wheelers. Time spent with her family was very important to her and she loved to dance with her daughter Christine and take Jeep rides with her sister Cathi. Most of all, Marsha loved baking banana bread and monkey bread for her family in her beautiful tiny house.
She is survived by her children: Christine (Bill) Martell of Clay City, Hope (Ryan) Horath of Farina, and Gabe L. Blair of Louisville; 7 grandchildren: Bo Wiley (Tiffany), Jada Wiley (Louie), Stormie (Josh) Leigh, Gabby Blair, Dalton (Cheyenne) Blair, McKenzie (Philly) Fredrick, and Briar Blair; 11 great-grandchildren; sibings: Rita Weidner of Flora, Cathi (Rick) Bailey of Flora, and Neil (Robin) Weidner of Louisville; and her beloved cat, Piper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Donald Blair; and a brother: Nelson Weidner.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Dillman Cemetery. Those who wish to attend are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery and the family suggests that everyone please dress casually. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. I will miss aunt Louie and all the good times we had with her over the years growing up. She was a great aunt and I'm blessed to have had her in my life! Prayers and love to Christine, Hope and Gabe.

Growing up i spent many nights hanging out with Christine and Hope...Marsha a beautiful lady and wonderful mother to her kids..I will forever remember her for being so kind..sending prayers to you girls and Gabe
