Janice “Jan” Fleckenstein, age 85, of Hartland, Wisconsin, was born to eternal life on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  She was born February 16, 1938, in Louisville, Illinois, a daughter of Clayton and Merle (Lacoax) Webster.  Jan was united in marriage on August 12, 2000, to Andrew “Andy” Fleckenstein.

     Jan was active working in the Fleck Foundation and she will be remembered for her true passion of showing her horses in many competitions and winning numerous distinguished awards.  Jan and Andy enjoyed their time together traveling for work and pleasure.

     Jan is survived by loving husband, Andy Fleckenstein; son, Greg Hrabak of Random Lake, Wisconsin; sister, Judy Richie of East Alton; two brothers, Carlin “Cork” Webster of Edwardsville and Alan (Susan) Webster of Louisville; brother-in-law, Larry McCollum of Louisville; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

     She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Neal and Don Webster; and a sister, Margaret McCollum.

     Following services in Wisconsin, a funeral ceremony honoring the life of Jan will be held beginning at 12 noon, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville.  Visitation will be prior to the ceremony, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.
