Rebecca Sue Lehman, age 86, of Flora, IL passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Becky was born December 11, 1926 in Ardmore, OK to Peter Manning and Sue (Sosbee) Boucher. She married Warren Robert “W.R.” Lehman on December 26, 1948 in Gainesville,TX. He preceded her in death September 27, 1984. Becky had worked at the Wielp Store and was a member of First Christian Church of Flora where she helped with making many meals at the church. She enjoyed games and magazines and loved shopping especially for the holidays where she remembered everyone, using her creativity and imagination with her gifts. She was a good mother and grandmother and was like a mother to many.
Becky is survived by her four children: Diane Lehman of Duncan, OK, Chris Robert Lehman (wife Sue) of Dwight, Gary Lee Lehman (wife Debbie) of Flora, JoAnn Lehman-Stine of St. Elmo; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren: Matthew and Jennie Lehman and children Will and Emma, Tim Lehman and children Evan and Ethan, Jamie Lehman, Wesley Lehman, Shawn and Lauren Lehman and children Lawson and Landrie, Seth and Jan Lehman and children Tyler and Laney, Lacey and Miles Lehman and son Eli, Quade Lehman, Jared and Krista Stine and children Sydney, Anna, and Wade, Dan and Natalie Stine and children David, Wyatt, and Lane, Shana Stine and fiancé Mike Waldinger, and Jilletta and Spencer Patton; a litter of nieces and nephews; and her dog Falcor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 2 sister-in-laws, and 1 brother-in-law.
The funeral service for Becky Lehman will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with visitation from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, OK.
Gary.....David and I are so sorry for the loss of your Mother. She and I shared many fun years on the election board....never a dull moment with Becky around! She will be missed. Prayers for you and your family.
