So very sorry for your loss
Donna and family. so sorry to hear of the news of Billy. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Bill and I spent a lot of our high school days together. He was a great person. Bill if your reading this just remember we cannot stuff owl's ;) I had no idea until today that you had gone to a better place, or I would have sent you some pretty flowers and came and said goodbye. I looked for you this year at the Xenia fish fry and never seen you. Had been wondering since how you had been doing lately. Guess my heart knew. Love you brother. Tell your mom and dad I said hello. R.I.P. my friend.
Billy was a very kind and person. My sympathy to his family. Peace be with you.
So sorry to hear this news. I never got to see you after I moved back to Flora. I have to thank you so much for the puppy you gave us in High School, "Shelia" she brought so much happiness to my mother Shirley. Gone too soon. I will leave you with this. "Fire And Rain" Just yesterday morning, they let me know you were gone. Suzanne, the plans they made put an end to you. I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song, I just can't remember who to send it to. I've seen fire and I've seen rain. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end. I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend, but I always thought that I'd see you again. Won't you look down upon me, Jesus, You've got to help me make a stand. You've just got to see me through another day. My body's aching and my time is at hand and I won't make it any other way. Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end. I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend, but I always thought that I'd see you again. Been walking my mind to an easy time, my back turned towards the sun. Lord knows when the cold wind blows it'll turn your head around. Well, there's hours of time on the telephone line to talk about things to come. Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground. Oh, I've seen fire and I've seen rain. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end. I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend, but I always thought that I'd see you baby, one more time again, now. Thought I'd see you one more time again. There's just a few things coming my way this time around, now. Thought I'd see you, thought I'd see you, fire and rain, now.
It is regret that I have found that you have passed. Before I left to move to California you entrusted a very old super 8 film of the 1970 train derailment. You asked for it back but it was missplaced. I have relentlessly looked for this elusive film to no avail. Last week I found it. It has been forwarded to a professional transfer company and I will post it on the clay city Web site. It is sad that I could not return it to you. Posthumously, I really appreciate this film. I was driving with my twin, Gary Hagen, in the passenger seat. My younger sister. Kathie, as well as my younger brother, Ed, we're in the back seat. I approached the railroad crossing at around 9 pm and stopped for the flashing railroad crossing lights. With the train speeding toward us, I squalled the tires across the tracks at the insistence of my twin, Gary. Sereneniptously it preserved our whole family. The later portion of freight train, 23 cars in total, derailed as most of the train had already passed through town. So had I remained at the railroad crossing we would have been killed. We would have been buried under 3 railroad cars. Billy, you are missed.
