Janet Marie Davis, age 63, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at Axiom Healthcare of Flora.

      She was born September 25, 1961, in Lincoln, Maine, the daughter of Edwin E. and Mary Jacqueline (Audibert) Davis Sr. 

      Janet had worked at Hella Electronics in Flora.  Her love of animals was evident in the care she had taken of her beloved horses, dogs, and cats over the years.  Janet was a talented painter and enjoyed spending time outside and horseback riding.

      She is survived by her daughter: Chyenne (Brice) Slater of Flora; 3 grandchildren: Annie Davis, Axel Slater, and Owen Slater, all of Flora; and 3 brothers: Chuck “Edwin” (Carla) Davis of Maine, Clifton Davis of Cisne, and Keith Davis of Paxton.

      She was preceded in death by her parents.

      A memorial visitation will be held from 3 until 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
