A memorial gathering of friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Outpost banquet room, 107 East North Avenue in Flora.
Harvey W. Price, age 81, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Axiom Gardens Care Center in Flora.
He was born April 9, 1943, in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Beatrice (Vesley) Price.
Harvey was a graduate of Oak Park High School. He had worked as a self-employed butcher and a currier for several agencies including the local Ford dealership. He enjoyed collecting coins and currency. Harvey had a colorful personality and could often be outspoken. He believed in working hard and respecting others.
He is survived by his cousins: Jan (Linda) Koe and Bruce (Linda) Koe; and special friends: David Lewis, Jeff Ulrich, and Judy Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandmother: Anna Vesley; and an aunt: Viola Koe.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Axiom Gardens Care Center for the quality care given to the residents.

So sad to read of Harveys passing We were neighbors on Clan Street for many years. He was a good friend who was always willing to help me out with whatever I needed, including babysitting my kids on several occasions. I've been gone from Flora for over 20 years now, but will always have fond memories of Harvey and his stories! Rest in Peace my friend ❤️
