Brian Edward Dennis, age 43, of Terre Haute, Indiana, and formerly of Flora passed away January 25, 2025. 

      He was born September 9, 1981, in Fairfield, the son of Cheri (Laughlin) Wildbur of Flora and Edward Lee Dennis of Salem.

      Brian dedicated his career to hard work, starting as a car salesman at Dorsett Auto in Marshall and Terre Haute, before transitioning to laborer at Brampton Brick Inc. in Farmersburg, Indiana.  Most recently, he was employed by Frontier Communications.  Brian was also a talented cook who took great joy in grilling out.  He loved the outdoors, whether riding side by sides—which he called “mule riding”—or spending time with friends.  However, above all else, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his children.

      He is survived by his parents: Cheri Laughlin Wildbur, and Edward and Nancy Dennis; 2 children: Bryanna and Bentley Dennis of Terre Haute, Indiana; 3 sisters: Laura Wildbur of Flora, Jessica Mann, and Jodi Showalter; maternal grandmother: Ilene Jackson of Flora; paternal grandmother: Marie Dennis of Flora; a step-grandmother: Mary Laughlin of Flora; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is also survived by his good friends, Cory Burgess of Sullivan, Indiana, and Nick Moulten of Terre Haute, Indiana.

      He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: William E. Laughlin and Ralph E. Dennis; and a cousin: Melissa Dennis Cooper.
