Debra Jean Gragert, age 67, of Fairfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 23, 2025.  Debbie was born on July 10, 1957.

      Debbie had a unique love for collecting decorative frogs for her home.  She never passed up a chance to take a walk outside and enjoy the sky, the sunshine, and anything she discovered along the way.  She also loved visiting with others and would share a warm hello and a listening heart.

      She is survived by her siblings: Diane Persinger of Flora, Nelson (Angie) Pruitt of Xenia, Clyde (Tracy) Pruitt of Flora, Ruth Hunt of Flora, and Dave (Jackie) Pruitt of Olney; and many nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her mother: Jean Pruitt; her father: Charlie Gragert; 2 brothers: Ernest Gragert and Ron Gragert; and a brother-in-law: Farrell “Bud” Hunt.

      A graveside ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Bunker Cemetery near Rinard.  A viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.  All attending should arrive directly at the cemetery.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com
