He was a Great uncle did so much for my family and father Gonna miss that man.
Glen was one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for,RIP our good friend
Ronnie, Michael and Mary Ann, my heart goes out to you. Your Dad, always made me laugh, never a dull moment or serious answer around him. When I moved back to Illinois, he and Aunt Audra Mae became my temporary fill-in parents because Mom and Dad were in North Carolina. The time spent with them still brings a smile to my face. I keep hearing “Kid” and “Kiddo” in my head, in their voices as I write this.
My condolences to the family 🙏
Wonderful man met him when we moved here from Mississippi sorry for y'all's loss
Glenn was one special fella. He and Dad were at the floor gardens together as roommates for a few years. Hearing this makes me so sad because just a month ago I lost my dad, and one of the first people I thought of was Glenn. I meant to get down to see him, but my health isn’t as good either anymore. You have no idea the stories that I could tell you, those two were into everything together, they each had a smile on their face, and a joke to tell. I think the nurses were the best part, especially the ones that always went along with their jokes. He was my “Poppy“ that’s all I ever called him, my dad knew that he was my second father by a different mother, and that’s no disrespect to his family. I love that man just like he was my dad, we had so many visits in so much fun he will greatly be missed. I know that he and Dad and my mama and Glenn‘s wife are all together now along with all the others that have went on before them. I love you all, and you will forever be in my heart Glenn. As I used to do kiss my hand and smack you on the top of your head and say love you old man and he say yeah yeah. Fly high. Give my dad a thumbs up. Tell him his daughter is doing fine sad but fine.
Mike so sorry buddy thinking of ur family
Mary Ann and family your dad was one of the kindest men I know I loved to listen to his stories I'm glad I got to know and take care of him will miss forever sending love and prayers for all of you
Glen was more than a friend. He was a mentor and teacher. If you used both ears and listen twice as much as your mouth lets you , you would've learned a TON off of Glen. He was at the top of my most respected list. Have a cold one with my dad and the Baker's. I will miss you my friend.
Very sorry for your loss Lauren and family. Prayers for you all.
