Betty has surviving three half-sisters; Rosa Rebecca (Yocham) Hillard and her husband Durward, Freda (Yocham) Combs and her husband Dennis, and Laurita (Yocham) Wand.

Betty married John William Forth on January 12, 1952, and they were married 69 years. Her beloved husband John passed to his everlasting reward on July 24, 2021. She had a son who preceded her as well to his everlasting reward, Ricky Lee Forth, and is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Knapp) Forth of Xenia, Illinois, and a daughter who died in infancy, Mary Allison Forth in 1970.

They had five children, three who survive: Mark Kevin Forth, and his wife Elizabeth Ann (Inks) Forth of Greenwood, Missouri; John David Forth, and his wife Leah (Parks) Forth of Flora, Illinois; and Leslie Jay Forth of Cisne, Illinois, and his former wife Janet (Fannon) Forth of Blue Springs, Missouri.

Betty and John Forth also have 19  great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Betty was devoted mother to her four boys. She enjoyed all of her grand, and great-grandchildren in their youth by having them stay for weeks at a time with her and John on their farm in Cisne, Illinois. She relished restoring antique furniture and woodworking as a hobby and was prolific in crocheting, giving away countless afghans to any who requested one. She loved gardening and canning of fruits and vegetables.

Betty was a devout Christian in her faith in Jesus Christ and made sure her children were taught Christian values while in their youth and in their adult life. She loved sharing the gospel of Christ with others whenever the opportunity would arise and was a staunch believer in the scriptures of the Bible, the Book of Mormon and the revelations in the Doctrine and Covenants of Jesus Christ. She was a baptized member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Subsequently, she worshiped with the Restoration branches of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
