Graveside Service: 11 a.m. - Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora
Ada Marie West Baker, age 73, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Gateway Hospital in Clarksville, TN.
Ada was born on March 13, 1940 in Clay County, IL to Menford and Fern (Rumley) West. She married Ben Baker on December 15, 1955 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 1964. Ada worked as a waitress for many years and was of the Protestant faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her.
Ada is survived by her three children: Diana Marie Jett (Alan) of Clarksville, TN, Troy Lee Baker (Traci) of Venice, FL, Marla Louise Bridges (David) of California; two brothers: David West (Judy) of Highland, IL, James “Red Top” West (Mary) of Flora, IL; one sister: Norma Quandt of Belleville, IL; 7 grandchildren: Cheryl Humphrey, Timothy Lee Judy, Shannon Alley, Scott Jett, Ian Baker, Benji Castleberry, Ethan Castleberry; a step-grandchild: Jonathan Bridges; and a number of great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers (Roy, Harvey, Ronnie and Robert West), 3 sisters (Mary Schnell, Betty Pearl and Sarah Jones), and a granddaughter (Crystal Judy).
A graveside service for Ada Baker will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora is assisting the family with arrangements.

dear mom you might be gone from here .but you are in our hearts . you are with dad happy and healthy . with that it gave me closure that i needed . i will see the both of you again one day. everyone who know you knew that you always wanted dad . so you two are up in heaven dancing and having a good time i love the both of you very much
I remember Ada from way back when I was a kid playing with the McKinnon boys and Hemphill kids. She was so nice and was always smiling :). Her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
