Gordon C. “Buddy” Ford, Jr., age 56, of Louisville, Illinois formerly of Flora passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at his home in Louisville.
Buddy was born November 15, 1957 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to Gordon Ford Sr. and Mary H. (McCracken) Ford. He was a factory worker and a member of the Xenia Christian Church and Flora Moose Lodge.
Buddy is survived by a daughter: Katherine Ayers of Xenia; a son: Gordon Ford III; 4 sisters: Mary Lou Hayes of West Salem, Connie (Dick) Sharp of Louisville, Tina (Larry) Huddlestun of Kinmundy, and Clarann Worthey (Al Cowles) of West Salem; 3 grandchildren: Makayla Schroer, Tristrum Ayers, and Zander Ayers; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father (Clarence Waggoner), 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
The funeral service for Buddy Ford will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with visitation from 9-11 a.m. on Monday. Memorials may be made to the family.

Love follows us,no matter how far. I know Buddy knows how much his sisters loved him and is going to miss him. Hang on to all those sweet memories. I am sure that are a lot of funny ones from back in his younger days if he is anything at all like his sisters. Sending our prayers.
