Bobby G. Powless, age 52, of Flora, Illinois passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
Bobby was born August 23, 1961 in Olney to Bobby Gene and Judy (Brown) Powless. He worked at Country Kitchen and Silgan Plastics. For a number of years, Bobby lived in Florida and always loved the beach. He also enjoyed camping and arrowhead hunting.
He is survived by his brother: Jerry Powless (Jennifer Gibbons) of Flora: aunt: Geraldine (Buzz) Foreman of Sailor Springs; uncles: Rex (Betty) Brown of Flora and Donnie (Gloria) Brown of Warsaw, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Cloey Powless, Hunter Powless, Elena Powless, Nina Sebring, Dennis (Johnda) Sebring Jr., Katie Sebring; special friend: Kay White and family; along with a number of great nieces and nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister (Pamela Sue Sebring), and grandparents (Lois and Ricie Brown and Eva Hickey).
The funeral service for Bobby Powless will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with visitation from 6 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home. I am so sorry for your loss.Bobby was a part of my life for 30 years and I truly feel like part of my soul is missing. We will all treasure every memory we have of him and he will be dearly missed. While it's true heaven gained an angel today, those who loved him did also: we will always have a guardian angel watching over us. God be with you and sustain you in your time of need.

Bobby was one of my favorite people. He had such a wonderful personality.We worked together at Silgin Plastics for several years. So sorry to hear of his death. Sleep well Bobby.
Bobby was a wonderful man and had a good heart I was one of his cnas and he would always make everybody laugh and get us through the day with his smile and funny noises he would make:) Bobby will be greatly missed but never forgotten in r are hearts and minds. We will all see him again one day at those pearly white gates of heaven. LOVE YOU BOBBY YOU WAS A DEAR DEAR FRIEND
