My heartfelt condolences to your family - Red and my dad, Cliff Maddox, were the best of friends - always enjoyed seeing him at Grandma's Kitchen with my grandma, Thelma Lee - he was forever young!
Sorry for the loss of your loved one.
I have many wonderful memories of Red, going back to 1967 when I first came to Flora, and he was my first landlord, renting me the land on Holman Street, where I parked my trailer. He was a fine man, and a great Grandfather to my children. I will miss him driving by my house, always giving me a wave and a smile.

Lynda and my sincere condolences. I emphatically agree with those many others who stated that 'Red was a Good Man'. This 'ole world needs many more such persons with the Christian qualities like those of the Galen 'Red' Schroeder that I recall.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, we hope looking back in memory will help comfort you tomorrow and the days to come.
Just learned this morning of Red's passing. We have been in California. Having lost my father April 30 of this year, I can say that we all know that life will end someday........but the loss continues beyond that day. I can say too, that the more you love and respect the individual, the more you will miss them. Red will be missed. We will forward our gift in his honor to Ryan at Frank and Bright.
So sorry for your lose. My Prayers are with you.
I remember many fun times spent at Omega Lake fishing for bass with Red and Tyler and, sometimes Brent. Red was such a good man and I want to thank him for his service to our country and for sharing such good memories fishing in his boat with me. Red taught Kristal quite a few metal bending tricks when she worked at S&E too. She was very fond of him and respected him as a businessman and friend.
So sorry for your loss. Mike and Lindy
Tyler and Susan..........so sorry to hear about Red. I have only fond memories of the S & E days. Red was always a person that I just enjoyed being around. I will always remember that smile. You were blessed! As always I miss your presence. Debbie and I send our love and best wishes always!
Sending prayers up, sorry for you loss..
