Nita Carol Noblet, age 63, of Flora, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the home of her sister, Rita, in Flora.
Nita was born January 9, 1952, in the Flora Hospital, Flora, IL, 8 hours after Rita, to parents Arthur N. Noblet (born 2/7/1910) and Lucille Harrison Noblet (born 9/2/1915). Her twin, Rita Cheryl Noblet was born at home in the country in the morning. When it became apparent that Nita could not be born at home a neighbor, with a tractor, pulled John Neal’s ambulance in on a mile of mud road.
Having graduated high school in Flora, Nita was influenced by her mother’s creativity and saw beauty in everything and touched everyone’s heart with her talents. People will remember Nita for her flair for decorating, both inside and outside homes, and cared for the little community park and the beautiful decorative planters around the square in Louisville. She was fun to work with and she set the pace.
Nita attended Red Brush Christian Church and was baptized last year. She had an unfaltering faith in her eternal home.
She is survived by sisters: Jean (Mrs. Bob) Bailey of Louisville, Wanda (the late Mr. G.B.) Holder of Newbern, TN, Rita (Mrs. Densil) Cook of Flora; brother: Robert V. (Karen) Noblet of Rinard; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Neal Noblet (died 10/31/1989), and her mother, Lucille Noblet (died 7/27/2008).
A funeral service for Nita Noblet will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be given to Clay County Hospice or Clay County Cancer Crusaders and will be accepted at the funeral home. Rita Sorry for your loss praying for you to find comfort in your memories & in the support of friends.
My hope is for comfort to the family members of Nita, know you will all miss her presence, but her future is now secure in her Heavenly home with all of her loved ones who have gone before. She was a friend to so many, a hard worker and fun personality, which we will all miss, rest in peace, Nita, will never forget you.

Rita and Family: My heart is saddened at Nita's passing and it hurts for all of you. Everyone who knew her loved her and will miss her. Nita and I worked together at the shoe factory. We were both very young. We have always been very good friends. Justin went to school with her. I have never heard any one say anything except good about such a wonderful person. Your love, smiles and hugs will be with us forever. My prayers are with Rita and all the family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Nita. The Noblet's were our neighbors in the country when we were young. I have many fond memories of visiting with Nita and Rita and playing out in the yard, swimming, and bouncing on a huge inner tube. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and her friends.

Although away from the old hometown for many years, I still have many memories of the Noblet sisters. I could never forget Nita or Rita, as they were an important part of my high school years; so many special shared experiences. It was such a delight to be surprised by and to have a chance to converse with them briefly at my brother's visitation five years ago. Now, the news of Nita's passing left me shocked and sad. Thursday evening before Nita passed on Saturday, I whispered in her ear the entire town, county and country was praying for her, thinking about her and was so very concerned and it she only knew how much she was loved, she would have to feel warm and fuzzy right about now. She looked up at me and very weakly said Thank You. After reading all these condolences, I guess I knew what I was talking about because I have never met anyone that did not love her. So Rita, Robert, Jean, Wanda, cousins, nieces, nephews, etc., you should feel warm and fuzzy tooooooo after all these wonderful comments. Love to you all.
Nita was a Great Friend, an Awesome Person.I loved Her so much. I talked to Her and Rita the night before they went to Calif. She was so excited. We are so saddened to hear about Nita. She was a true light and a creative inspiration to all. We would sometimes see her out in a restaurant when we came home to Flora and she never failed to give us a smile or a hug. Our sympathy goes to the entire family, and especially Rita.

I was Nita's teacher for junior-year English. I remember that she wrote a theme one time on how she liked to clean people's houses. I told her that I didn't know that anyone actually liked to clean house. She said she did because seeing how other people decorated their houses gave her ideas for decorating her own someday. From what I've heard, she found some good ideas and put them into practice.
Dear Jean, Rita and families, we are so deeply saddened to hear of Nita's passing. She was such a joy to be around! Her smile, her laughter, her boundless energy and creativity whether in decorating or gardening or just life itself was such an inspiration. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
