Lucille Hickox, age 90, of Flora, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015, at her home in Flora.
Lucille was born February 13, 1925 in Oskaloosa Township to Everett and Etta (Pierce) Foster. She married Harold Wayne Hickox on November 10, 1945 in Yale. They have been long time members of Shiloh Church of Christ in Louisville.
Lucille is survived by her husband: Wayne Hickox of Flora; 9 children: Ronnie (Anne) Hickox of Blytheville, AR, Carol Ann (Richard) Salyers of Flora, Ray (Beverly) Hickox of Burnsville, MS, Alan (Charlotte) Hickox of Flora, Harold (Diane) Hickox of Newton, Lee (Helen) Hickox of Burnsville, MS, Randy (Vicki) Hickox of Burnsville, MS, Janet (Emmitt) Miller of Flora, and Larry (Lisa) Hickox of Dundas; 1 sister: Lela (John) Strole of Montrose, CO; sister-in-law: Peg Foster of Dundas; 40 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren, and 3 special friends: Jodi Gibson, Holly Fessler, and Rhonda Castleberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Richard, 1 grandson, 1 great-granddaughter, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
A funeral service for Lucille Hickox will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Honey Cemetery in Bogota. Memorial donations may be given to Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home. To send a condolence, visit www.frankandbright.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Lucille's passing. She was an awesome lady and I have very fond memories of my younger years spending time with this family in Bogota. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She leaves an awesome legacy.

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of Lucille. She was a lovely lady and we are so pleased to have her as a cousin. We as christians know she has only been promoted to her heavenly home. So sorry we are unable to go to the services due to the time and our work schedule. We wish we could be there. We love each of you and you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. May God continue to give you comfort and rest.
Lucille was a very special lady in so many ways, she touched the heart of so many people and I will forever remember her in my heart and I want to express my deepest sympathy to the entire family for their loss today and will keep them in my prayers.
