Prayers for the family. Mr. Haycock, always was hard for me to call him Mart, as he was my 7th grade teacher. I have notified the classmates and so many have commented remembering him. Mart always had a smile and when I would call the house for Sandy, he would always joke and say she wasn't there as he was just her secretary. Well Mr. Secretary, sure will miss those calls.

I just learned of Mr. Haycock's passing. I am sorry for your loss. He was my math teacher in the 7th grade, which the best I can figure was 1965. I simply can't call him Mart. There are few teachers whose presence sticks with us for our lives. Mr. Haycock was that for me. He made learning fun and interesting while at the same time he was demanding. I am fortunate to have had a teacher like him.
Sandy and family, I am so sorry to learn of Mart's passing.
