Dianne Pauline Patient, age 70, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at her home.

   She was born July 3, 1945, in Decatur, the daughter of Ivan and Iola (Kerwood) Plain.  Dianne was a CNA for 45 years, working in many nursing homes.  She was an avid Elvis fan, and brought smiles from everyone when asked to get up and do “the twist.”

   Dianne is survived by a son: Anthony Wayne Plain of Texas; a daughter: Angela Ellsworth of Iuka; a sister: Mary DeCieco of Decatur; a brother: I.G. Plain of Florida; and 2 granddaughters: Racheal Williams and Shelby Plain.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Richard Plain.

   A memorial service for Dianne Patient will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
