She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter: Rita Porter, two brothers: Bill Banta and Jim Banta, and one sister: Lucille Vanwey.
A funeral service for Gladys Milligan will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Mike and Patty, we are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady, like a second mom to me. I spent a lot of great time at your house and at Trago Lake while we were growing up, your mom always put up with the 3 of us, you, Barry and me. Pat and I will be thinking of you and will keep you in our prayers.
We remember Gladys from church. She was such a sweet lady with a ready smile. We are sorry for your loss and y'all are in our prayers.
My sympathy to the surviving Milligans. I remember Gladys well from "play visits" to the home on Blue Mound road. May she rest in peace.
Thinking of you Susie, prayers for you and your family.
Mike, sorry to hear of your loss. I always enjoyed visiting at your home and your mom and dad were always so friendly and enjoyable to talk to. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
