Lisa Kay Dulaney, age 46, formerly of Flora, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Lisa was born January 4, 1969 in Flora to James L. “Jake” Dulaney and Linda K. (Wheeler) Dulaney. She was affiliated with the Clay City Church of God, where she enjoyed singing. Lisa was a happy person who loved being around people, and loved seeing her nieces, nephews, and her brother. She enjoyed going fishing, camping, and loved animals.
She is survived by her parents: Jake and Linda Dulaney of Flora; siblings: Pamela S. Mayhaus (John) of Mattoon, Brenda D. Dulaney (Donald Hammond) of Flora, Becky Harker (James) of Rinard, and Randy J. Dulaney (Shannon) of Flora; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: James C. and Martha L. Dulaney, maternal grandparents: Harry W. and Violet E. Wheeler, and one brother: Michael L. Dulaney.
A funeral service for Lisa Dulaney will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. There is no visitation.
