Rose M. Anderson, age 68, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Rose was born April 20, 1947 in Clay County to Jack Hayward and Freda (Goff) Beck. She married Robert L. Anderson on March 8, 1974. Rose was a homemaker and had worked at the Brown Shoe Factory in Flora. She was a member of the Sailor Springs Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting, making quilts and afghans, and loved watching hummingbirds.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Anderson of Clay City; daughter: Donna (Shane) Pottorff of Clay City; son: Mark (Karen) Beck of Clay City; 6 grandchildren; 14 siblings: Jack (Gaylene) Beck of IL, Jerry (Rita) Beck of IL, James (Jimmy) Beck of AR, Rebecca (Billy) Slane of IL, Lela Hickey of IL, Marilyn Beck (Donny Radford) of IL, Olive (Gary) Talbert of IL, Johnny (Beverly) Beck of MI, Julius Beck of IL, Freda (Danny) Lowe of MI, Jeffery Beck of IL, Helen (Jeff) Chapman of TN, Christina Beck of IL, April (Bryan) Glodo of IL; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two nephews, and two nieces.
A funeral service for Rose Anderson will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Clay City. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. Bob and children, My deepest condolences to you at Rose's passing. Though I have never met you, I've known Rosie and her siblings my whole life as we were neighbors growing up on Austin Avenue. What a sweet, kind, and giving lady your Rosie was. Your loss is great and I pray that your memories will bring you comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
To each of Jack and Freda's children, I am so very sorry that you have lost another sibling. Rosie had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. I send a hug to each of you, along with my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear the loss of Rosie. I have drawn her blood several times and always liked her but never knew she was Rosie Beck. I wish I would have as we could have had a few chuckles looking back I'm sure and I would like to know where the others are these days. RIP Rosie...
