Richard Woolfolk

   Richard "Rich" Woolfolk, 49, of Scottville, Illinois, and formerly of Loami, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015.

   He was born May 11, 1966, in Jacksonville, the son of Carroll Woolfolk and Elaine Clevenger Woolfolk Newell.

   He married Rebecca Suzanne Stanford on July 6, 2010, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and she survives.

   Also surviving are sons Joshua Richard Woolfolk and Christopher Richard Woolfolk, both of Curran, and Gage Allen Woolfolk of Scottville; his parents, Carroll Woolfolk of Scottville, and Elaine Newell of Woodson; a brother, Brian Scott Woolfolk (Tracy) of Grinnell, Iowa; six nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

   He was a 1984 graduate of Northwestern High School in Palmyra. He received an associate's degree in electronics from Lincoln Land Community College in 1986 and was employed by Getinge U.S.A. as a field technician. He was a past fire chief of the Loami Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Scottville Christian Church and also the Loami Christian Church. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish. He also loved riding ATVs and riding his Harley.

   Funeral services and visitation were held at the Scottville Christian Church in Scottville.
