Family is family! We lived so close when growing up next to Grandma Weiler's house which was between ours and Uncle Bill's. We played together and enjoyed Grandma's holiday dinners together. Those were to good ole days. In recent years I have followed Doug and his incredible photos on Face Book. He was a talented photo journalist of highest degree. Only recently have I learned of his kindness and friendship to sooooo many others who he worked with and confided in. This is a special trait and I am so proud of him. Yes, he will be surely missed and we pray for his close family but they should be consoled in the fact that he is waiting for the rest of us in Heaven. A great man has left us for another life. Hopefully, we too will be joining him when called. God bless Doug Weiler and his family!

We were blessed to have met Doug a few years ago when he took pictures for our granddaughters wedding and again for other family reunions He was a very patient and kind man. We enjoyed his company and know he will be missed by many. Our sincere sympathy goes out to his family. He loved them very much. He loved taking pictures of his grandchildren and gave us some very loving pictures of ours.
My sympathy to the Weiler family. Don't always understand God's plan but am sure Doug is in his care. He was a kind man who always had time to give an encouraging word or story to someone having a "down" day. He will be greatly missed.
