May God receive him with open arms, . . . . loved visiting with Junior, .....praying for all of the family.
We are so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your comfort at this difficult time.
Schnepper cousins and families: My heart hurts for y'all. It's so hard when you lose your last parent. You're all in my thoughts and prayers. I have wonderful childhood memories of being at all the farms and spending time together. Uncle Junior always had a big smile and hug for me when I visited with him in later years. We had good visits. One of my treasures is a card he sent me where he wrote that he enjoyed getting cards from me and now it was my turn to get one from him😋 He's having a time now with your mom and my folks plus all his loved ones in Heaven. He was so very proud of all you kids and loved you so much. "They are good kids" was always his last comment. He told me that every time we talked. He also would tell me about all his grandkids. All of us who love him will miss him so. RIP Uncle Junior 🙏
Dear Schnepper cousins, we are both sad to hear of Uncle Jr's passing. Sad for you all because you have now lost both parents and sad for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren for losing their grandpa. He worked hard all his life, but what a good and long life he lived. I have a lifetime of good memories of him, but way too many to list them all here. I always loved it when he and Cas would show up at the same auctions. Cas would always tell him, "well I won't be bidding against you on that", to which Uncle Jr. would laugh and tell him, "well, I'm a bidding!" Few people has Cas ever truly enjoyed being around, but your Dad certainly was among those few that he did. I am smiling now as I picture him in my mind calling your Mom Bessie and then laughing and saying how she hated when he did that. Your Dad is the ONLY person I can remember who could call my Mom Essie that she didn't get mad at. He did love to tease those two and now they are all together again and I am betting there is a lot of Bessie and Essie being said about now. He loved your Mom so much and he loved all you kids and grandkids, and was rightfully proud of each one of you. Few parents can raise 6 kids and have all of them come out as great as the 6 of you did. Our thoughts and prayers and love are with you all. I surely did love Uncle Jr. May your memories warm your hearts with comfort and put a smile on your face as you remember and celebrate the life of a good man, husband, dad, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed. Godspeed on your journey Uncle Jr.
Prayers for peace and comfort for my sweet Schnepper cousins. I have such fun memories of my times visiting the farm and of Uncle Jr. and Aunt Evelyn.
