Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church with visitation from 9-10 a.m.
Anthony Lee “Tony” Briley, age 41, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, and a former Fairfield, Illinois resident, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in Logandale, Nevada.
Tony graduated from Fairfield Community High School with the Class of 1993. He attended college at UIC until December 1997. It was at that time that he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until he was discharged in 2004. In 2001, Tony married Rebecca Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; two daughters: Emma and Anna at home; his parents: Lee and Rhonda Briley of Cave-In-Rock (formerly of Fairfield); a sister: Leah (Gary) Hinkle of Flora; a nephew: Aaron (Cassie) Hinkle and their son Brantley of Flora; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service for Tony Briley will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield, with visitation starting at 9 a.m. Memorials can be made to the family to help with the purchase of a monument in Tony’s honor, and these will be accepted at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, who is assisting the family. My prayers and condolences to Tony's family. We were roommates at UIC and I have great, lifelong memories of him.

I have many fond memories of growing up with Tony in youth group. I had lost contact with him over the years. He was a very sweet guy and he will truly be missed. Prayers from Indiana for all.

My family is deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Tony. I was a roommate of Tony's at UIC and it was a privilege to to know him and be his friend. It was a joy to meet up with him and his daughter, Anna, for dinner near Christmastime 2014 in Las Vegas and it really brought back some great memories. My deepest condolences to your family as you mourn this loss. Thank you for your military service to our country, Tony. You will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace.
