Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation: 3-6 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Cornerstone Community Church, Noble, Illinois
Sharon Cross, age 58, of Noble, Illinois, passed away Monday evening, December 19, 2016, in Noble, surrounded by loving family and friends.
She was born December 15, 1958, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Lakin Robert Hunt and Berta Rosemary (McCandless).
She was united in marriage to Troy Cross on September 26, 1994.
Sharon made a beautiful imprint on the lives of others. Family was her first priority, and attending her granddaughter’s softball games was at the top of her list. Sharing over 20 years of marriage, “she did her best to keep Troy in line.” She enjoyed spending as much time as she could outdoors under the sun, whether in the backyard, or when she had the opportunity to travel and take a walk on a sandy beach. Sharon had worked as an over the road truck driver.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Cross; children: Dustin Fore, Dale Fore, and Debbie Fore; her sister: Linda Locklear; and 5 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life memorial visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Cornerstone Community Church, Noble, Illinois.
