Unbelievable. Jay will be greatly missed at Knapp Oil Co. Such a kind man.
So saddened to hear of Jay's passing. Jay was a great friend to me and my brother. A very kind person. He will be missed. My sympathy to the family....Jay, give my bro (John) a hug for me, I know you will!
My deepest sympathy to all the family at the passing of your loved one. Though each of you know how special Jay was, I think it is important that you know his friends also knew what a wonderful person he was. As his friend since high school days, he and I grew closer in our friendship in our later years after he moved back to this area from Colorado. I introduced Jay to my husband and they became instant friends. My husband called him "Martin" because he thought he looked like Martin Short. Jay didn't mind that at all. He would laugh and say he wished he had Martin Short's money...:) Jay was a kind and gentle soul and always put the needs and feelings of others above his own. Your loss is deep and I pray you will find comfort in knowing how much he was loved and respected outside the family unit. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Godspeed on your journey my dear friend.
From Jay's classmates, both near and far, we send our condolences to you at the passing of your loved one. His smile and kindness will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
