Jessie Allene Dillman, age 97, of Flora, Illinois, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017, at her home in Flora.
She was born on February 21, 1920, to Harry and Bonney (Chandler) Crouse in rural Louisville. She married Dallas Dillman on August 30, 1941. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2005.
She is survived by three daughters: Bonney (Joe) Spicer of Fenton, MO, Betty (Jim) Angel of Teutopolis, and Velma (Chuck) Runyard of Armington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Linda (Phillip) Sharp, John (Chris) Spicer, Steven (Stacey) Spicer, Karen (Rich) Permenter, Kelly (Shane) Anderson, Janee (Hary) Angel-Khano, Luke (Lindsay) Litwiller, Jessica Litwiller, Jennifer (Mark) Hamm; and twenty great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by special friends who loved and cared for her till the end. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister: Lucille Brown.
Jessie was a member of the Flora First Baptist Church. She was a lifelong seamstress including making quilts for each daughter, grandchild, and great-grandchild. She loved putting together jigsaw puzzles and doing word search puzzles.
Services for Jessie Dillman will be held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour before the service. Interment will be in the Hoosier Prairie Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.

I'm soo sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. I know she is rejoicing in heaven with Dallas. I have soo many memories of both Dallas and Jesse growing up since my grandparents, Wayne and Louise Murphy were good friends with them. I will miss seeing Jesse. Hugs and prayers to your family.
Sorry to hear of your mother's passing I took care of your parents when I worked at CCH I have a wooden eagle that they made together and gave ne as a gift . They hold a special place in my heart ,both were very kind and caring.
So sorry to hear about Jessie. She will be greatly missed. She was like a mother and a good friend to me.
Loved Jessie!! She is so sweet and very devoted in her faith. This women is talented in so many ways. She showered her love and attention to my kids . Her Family is wonderful in every way. I loved her and Dallas and I have wonderful memories of both. Now they are together with their Savior.
Dearly loved Jessie, she was a special lady, she will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh I just loved Jessie.....we had many talks about music and the joys of playing piano. She always told me how happy she was to hear the next generations play the piano. She will be missed!
I have many fond memories of Jessie from spending time at their home in Ingraham while Bonney and I were classmates in high school. She and her family will always hold a special place in my heart.
Jessie and Dallas were great next door neighbors. My cat, Puff, and I spent quite a bit of time at their house. They will be greatly missed.
