Shirley Mae Randall, age 76, of Cisne, and a former Flora resident, passed away Wednesday morning, January 17, 2018, at her home.
Shirley was born November 11, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Pearl E. and Iva (Colclasure) Oliver. She was united in marriage to Freddie R. Randall during a ceremony at the First Christian Church in Flora on March 9, 1959.
Shirley moved to Flora from the city of St. Louis in her youth, attended Flora schools, and married and raised her family with love and laughter. She worked at the old shoe factory in the 1960’s and later was employed as a home caregiver. She was a longtime fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball club, loved animals and enjoyed nature, feeding birds, watching for hummingbirds, and going fishing and camping. She spent a lot of time attending her grandkids sporting events and activities, and was a member of Flora Church of the Nazarene where she participated in the Friendship Class.
She is survived by her husband: Fred Randall of Cisne; 4 children: Tony (Janice) Randall of Flora, Cynthia (Tim) Enyart of Flora, Rhonda (Steve) Buxton of Cisne, and Crystal Randall of Olney; 10 grandchildren: Heather (Michael) Hale, Bryan (Carrie) Enyart, Jennifer (Nathan) Hargis, Melissa Enyart, Amber Mayberry, Mariah Hargraves, Logan Harris, Cierra (Aaron) Foerster, Brayanna Hargraves, and Jarred Hargraves; 2 stepgrandchildren: Steve Buxton and Dane Buxton; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 half-brothers: Donald Jones and Michael Jones of House Springs, Missouri; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents: Pearl and Iva Oliver; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arthur “Tom” and Kathryn Randall; a granddaughter: Stephanie Harris; a grandson: Damon Garrison; a sister: Barbara Conner; and a brother: George Barton.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Pastor Phil Alvord officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
