I am so deeply sorry for your loss of Ann. I met her thru her mom, Marie Dell. Marie and I worked at the State together. I got to know the family and truly was blessed to have been a part of their lives. Sending prayers
My heart goes out to all of you who knew Ann. She was an amazing person whom I met through my mom, Winnie Cantrell, who was one of her teachers in Louisville. Mom absolutely loved Ann. Over the years that Ann and mom became good friends, I got to know Ann better and came to understand how special that friendship was, and how wonderful Ann was. In mom’s later years, as her memory went downhill, Ann continued to be such a genuine, strong, supportive friend to her. The world is a better place for Ann having been here. So many people are going to miss her so much.

Ann is someone I could count on to have friendly words when I saw her, and warmly remind me of the discovery that we had mutual family friendships through her father and my grandfather's family. She will always hold a place in my memory.
Ann was one of my favorite student's and was a dear friend!
Ann was a good friend of mine. I met Ann when she worked as a custodian at North Clay. She cleaned my Kindergarten classroom. She loved my students and enjoyed coming in my classroom and visiting with them. They nicknamed her Apple Annie and she loved it ! Ann always took time to talk to me as I finished up my day at school and she came in my room to begin her day. She cleaned my classroom until it sparkled and she always took pride in her work. I will always remember Ann's kind spirit, amazing smile, and contagious laugh. She brought joy to my day. Ann also cared for my grandpa at the nursing home when he was ill. Ann will be truly missed by me and by all of the people that she surrounded herself with. God Bless you Ann! I love you! Lori Parks
