William “Bill” Joseph Viehmeyer, age 67, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Bill was born December 9, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Henry and Lillian (Newman) Viehmeyer. He married Michelle Helms on April 5, 2014, in Tarpon Springs, FL. Bill was retired and did work as an electrician and other odd jobs. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife: Michelle Viehmeyer of Louisville; 3 daughters and 1 son; 2 step-children: Sierra (Anthony) Frediani of Batavia, IL, and Emily Jordan of Cameron, TX; 1 sister: Peggy Feldman and husband of New Jersey; 1 brother: Harry Viehmeyer and fiancé of Canada; 5 grandchildren; parents-in-law: Lee Matanich of Florida, Donna Matanich of Flora, and Randall and Mary Helms of Cisne; brother-in-law: Randall Helms of Louisville; and 2 sisters-in-law: Amy Durbin of Flora and April Thornton of Xenia.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and 2 siblings: Robert Viehmeyer and Gerard Viehmeyer.

A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be given to assist the family with expenses.
