Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. The family requests no flowers or gifts and prefers donations be made to Ingraham Cemetery Fund or Clay County Hospice and these will be accepted through the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I had the pleasure of reading his books while he was a resident at Lakeland. My mother, Helen (Scurlock) Wakefield, were fast friends once they saw each other in the dining room. She grew up not far from Paul. As a family we traveled every year to see the wondrous Christmas Lights, and continued that until they discontinued them. He always had a smile, and a story to tell, when i visited with him at Lakeland. He will be missed by all who knew him. I will keep the entire family in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Sincerely, Brenda (Wakefield) Evans
