Dear Monica & Becky, I am sorry for your loss. I am sad for the loss of my cousin. Bobby Gene was a kind and good and decent man. I rejoice however that he is now reunited with the love of his life. He never stopped missing her and when he was around us he always talked about his Diana. It is said that time heals all wounds, but in your dad's case I think he spent 23 years grieving for her. He also always talked about you two girls and your families. He loved you both very much and was so proud of you. When my mom died Bobby was so upset that he missed her service because of confusion over the time and him being an hour ahead of us. He came to my house when he got to the cemetery and realized it was already concluded. He sat and talked with me and Cas for several hours and upon leaving, as he fought back the tears, asked if it would be okay if he took his guitar and went to the cemetery to play some songs at her grave. And he did. He was always very close to Mom and Dad and they had as much respect and love for him as he did for them. When your hearts are heavy and hurting just remember that the blood of your mom and dad flows through your veins and they are part of you and with you always. Love, hugs, and prayers to you and your families. Godspeed on your journey dear cousin.
I am so so sorry for your loss.
