Mrs. Patricia Ruth Junkins, of Noble, Illinois, passed away in the loving care of her friends and former co-workers in the Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on Saturday morning, March 16, 2019, at the age of 77.

     Patty is survived by her two sons, Jay Sheffield (wife Kathleen) Libby, Montana, Mark Sheffield (wife Suzie) Madison, Mississippi, three grandchildren, Michael (wife Kathryn), Hunter (wife Rachel) and Allison as well as one great-grandchild, Manning.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Mullen and Ruth Mullen, first husband, Dennis Sheffield (1959-1974) and second husband, Billy Junkins (1975-2000, his death.)

     Patty was born on September 18, 1941, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and enjoyed a 35 year career as a registered nurse.  

     Funeral services will be performed by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  There will not be a visitation.  A graveside service will be on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at 10 a.m. at North Freedom Cemetery, Noble.  Memorial donations in lieu of flowers or gifts can be made on her behalf to Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch in Saint Ignatius, Montana.  Online guestbook available at: www.frankandbright.com
