Isa E. White, age 95, of Flora, IL passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Isa was born on April 7, 1918 in Rinard, IL to Jessie and Naomi (Emmons) Billington. She married Samuel Roscoe White on November 25, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1975. Isa was a good listener and a great mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Flora and enjoyed reading, doing crosswords, and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

She is survived by a son: Larry R. White of St. Ann, MO; a daughter: Diane Zipay of Omaha, NE; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son (Gregory Dennis White), and a daughter-in-law (Dorothy White).

The funeral service for Isa White will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Ben VanHyning officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Monday at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church.
