Prayers from the Wayward Musicians at Hogg Heaven
Carrol used to cut my hair when he was in the shop in Clay City. I loved to get my hair cut there partly because he did a great job, but also because he was a great Story Telly and musician. Sometimes, when he wasn’t busy he would sit down and play and sing a couple of songs for me. My prayer go out for the family Brad Harris
I'm so sorry for your loss. Carrol was a good guy. I love you. I know your up there playing the guitar with Grandpa Ross. You will be missed.
Carroll was such a talented musician! He was a true gentleman and I enjoyed playing music with him at Hogg Heaven BBQ in Mt.Carmel. About 2 years ago, one of our group said that he heard that Carroll had died. We were all sad. He showed up a couple of months later, and it was wonderful! Best night there ever. Carroll got a kick out of the mix-up. He will be missed.
Carrol is one of the main characters in my memories of living in Flora during the 80's. We spent so many times doing music jams at his house, and hearing him play in various places around the area. Carrol and his big old standup bass. He could tell a good story and always seemed to be in good spirits. He will be missed, but now he can join his boys.
Sorry to hear of your loss. A good man—he will be missed.
