Glen Ray Lister, age 68, of Frostproof, FL, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at his home in Florida.

Glen was born on August 7, 1944 in Sailor Springs, IL to Kenneth and Myrtle (Welch) Lister. He worked as a ranch hand at the FX Bar Ranch in Florida and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Hale Lister of Frostproof, FL; 3 sons: Glen Ray Lister Jr. of Bluford, Marvin Lister of Rinard, Glenie Alan Baisinger of Sailor Springs; 1 sister: Thelma Boyd of Olney; 3 brothers: Wayne Lister of Colorado, Marvin Lister of Arizona, Leon Lister of Clay City; along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister (Eileen Cochran).

The funeral service for Glen Lister will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Burial will follow in Bunker Cemetery, Rinard. Visitation will be from 1p.m. until time of service on Friday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
